The pupils dressed up to help raise money for a student performance at The Playhouse in Weston this summer.
The school's drama group, The Red Triangle, will stage Pirates of Penzance from July 9-11.
Shedman, a writer, poet and filmmaker inspired by the wooden structures, as well as aircraft hangars and other similar shelters, was visiting the school at the time.
So students raided his shed for treasure in true pirate fashion.
