A POLISH student who came to Weston College with a limited knowledge of English has won a place in the final of a prestigious web design competition.
Klaudia Pedzimaz, aged 18, impressed judges with her flair for design at the WorldSkills web design contest.
Klaudia, who is studying an extended diploma in IT practitioners, came to Weston College from Broadoak Mathematics and Computing College, having moved to England two years ago.
She will now travel to Portsmouth’s Highbury College on July 6 to take part in the final of the intermediate level competition.
This takes place under rigorous conditions, with students not knowing what their brief is until they arrive.
