Politics students at Weston College got the chance to meet Conservative MPs at a Conservative Association event this week.
Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, Michael Gove MP, and Weston MP John Penrose attended the event and spoke to students who are currently studying A Level Government and Politics.
Mr Gove - who was voted out of the Conservative party leadership election last week - gave a speech after the students enjoyed a three-course meal at the Royal Hotel.
He said: “It is good to see the amazing young people from Weston College here this evening.
“Everyone in the town should feel proud of the college, and it deserves congratulations for everything it has achieved.”
