CHILDREN got stuck into some of Weston’s history, as well as a spot of arts and crafts fun at an event on Tuesday.

Ashcombe Children’s Centre organised the event at the Potteries in Langford Road and saw the youngsters introduced to some of Weston’s history as a pottery-producing town.

They also had their faces painted and were able to make some arts and crafts, such as handbags.
