Students, parents and teachers are celebrating after Priory Community School (PCSA) achieved impressive GCSE results this morning (Thursday).
Some 12 per cent of PCSA students achieved grades 9-7, the same figure as last year, while 41 per cent scored grades 9-5.
The number of year 11 students who bagged grades 9-4 rose to 67 per cent, up by five per cent from 2018's scores.
Chloe Trowbridge was top of the class with six 9s, three 8s and two 7s, while Elena Tucker achieved four 9s, three 8s and three 7s.
PCSA, in Worle, is led by The Priory Learning Trust.
Principal Angelos Markoutsas told the Mercury: "These results are a tremendous cause for celebration for all of our amazing students.
"Well done to each and every one.
"Such achievements are a partnership between students, teachers, parents, carers and the community and I want to thank them all."
