A NEW community project to help support people with learning difficulties will be unveiled to the public in a consultation forum next week.
North Somerset Council invites parents and residents to drop in to hear about sports facilities and day service provision it will offer on the Worle Community School site.
As part of the plans, a new full-size artificial sports pitch, fitness suite, dance studio, changing rooms and caf will be built as well as multi-purpose rooms to allow a variety of activities to take place.
The facilities have yet to go before councillors for planning permission but a decision is expected next month. If approved, building work will start next year ahead of an expected completion date in 2013.
Information will be available to the public on November 29 from 6-8pm or alternatively you can contact the council’s leisure service on 01934 427222.
