A PUPIL from Milton Park Primary School has won a badge-designing competition as part of the Walk Once A Week campaign.

Lewis Durston entered the competition, which was organised by national charity Living Streets, designed to encourage children to walk to school.

He was presented with a trophy featuring his design from children’s author Loretta d’Souza.

His design, which features a policeman’s badge, was one of 11 chosen from 140,000 entries and will be turned into 300,000 badges to be distributed in November.
