THE banging of dozens of drums could be heard at St Anne’s Primary School in Hewish as youngsters learned about African music.

The event, orchestrated by North Somerset Council’s music service, was held as part of the school’s culture and faith week. As well as having the African drum workshop, pupils have been learning about the Christian, Jewish and Sikh faiths.
