A WESTON primary school is ranked in the top one per cent in the country for progress made by its pupils in reading.
Children and teachers at Walliscote Primary School are celebrating after receiving the summary report from schools watchdog Ofsted and the Department for Education.
Pupils at the school were also in the top three per cent nationally for their progress in maths.
Headteacher Jo Green said: “It’s just fantastic the pupils have made such great progress and the school is recognised as having added so much value to their achievement.”
