PUPILS at Banwell Primary School and their parents have been getting the needle and thread out to create patriotic decorations to help the school mark the upcoming Diamond Jubilee and Olympic Games.

The school sewing club and parents and staff volunteered to make the school red, white and blue bunting out of donated fabric, which will be used at its events held over the summer.
