A MUSICAL dance extravaganza took place in Weston on Monday.
Dance Their Socks Off! was organised by Carolyn Savidge, a lead coordinator for the arts with the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, and Churchill Community School student Lucinda Hoy-Green, who helped with choreography.
The event took place at The Playhouse in High Street and many turned up to watch a variety of shows from more than 250 children.
The performers came from 10 North Somerset primary schools including Burrington, Hutton, Churchill, St Andrew’s in Congresbury, Wrington, Sandford, Winscombe, Banwell, Yeo Moor in Clevedon and Blagdon.
