AN AWARD-winning garden designer is teaming up with green-fingered special needs pupils to come up with a garden show entry.

Mark Walker has teamed up with pupils from Westhaven School in Uphill to produce his entry for the Malvern spring show, after working with them on a separate project last year.

Mr Walker said: “I’m doing this in conjunction with Westhaven again because it‘s lovely to involve the children. They are not only supplying plants but also the pupils are helping to grow them in their glasshouse.”

His new design depicts a seaside setting, and Mr Walker hopes to recreate the garden at the school if he can get a sponsorship of £10,000.

Anyone interested in sponsoring can contact Mr Walker on 07886 185853.
