CHURCHILL Community school will go head-to-head with 50 other UK schools after being shortlisted as a finalist in a national business award.
A 'build a business' competition run by Thomson Local aims to identify Britain's business brains of the future, and students at Churchill will be hoping to impress.
Pupils will be charged with creating a small business which will benefit their village.
Thomson spokesman Gary Brown said: "We are looking forward to watching the idea develop into a thriving local business.
"It's really positive to see young people being so entrepreneurial and thinking about how they can have a positive impact on the Churchill community.
