Hugh Sexey Middle School

SEVENTY-SEVEN year seven pupils from Hugh Sexey Middle School, in Sexeys Road, Wedmore, travelled to Normany for their French visit.

The class travelled by ferry to Chateau Beaumont, Mayenne, in Normandy, and the Loire in France for four nights.

The children visited the Bayeaux tapestry, a traditional french market, St Malo, Mont St Michel and the war museum. The children enjoyed sampling the french way of life putting their French language into practice and sampling the delights of eating frogs legs and snails.
