THESE green-fingered youngsters at Sandford Primary School have signed up to get their grown-ups growing as part of a nationwide campaign.
Pupils at the school, as well as those at Milton Park Primary School, Yatton Infant School and Little Farm in Weston, signed up for the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) initiative to get parents and adults to help develop school gardens for use by children.
A recent RHS survey found that 65 per cent of parents admitted their own parents knew more about gardening than they did, and nearly half believed their own children had better horticultural knowledge than themselves.
