Pupils from Shipham First School went a bit nutty this week as part of their green club trip to the woods.
The children looked for nuts and seeds in Kingswood Forest in Winscombe and identified different kinds of plants.
They also gathered sweet chestnuts which they will roast in the school grounds.
School spokesman Jo Mcleod said: “The children all really enjoyed exploring the woods and identifying the trees.”
