YOUNGSTERS at Sandford Primary School organised and held a fundraising day to help one of their sports coaches reach his charity target.

Adam Maxwell reached his target of £2,000 for Children with Cancer thanks to the help of the pupils, having recently taken part in the London Marathon to raise money.

Events on the fundraising day on May 22 included a whole-school marathon around the school grounds and an auction of promises which included Tae Kwon Do sessions, afternoon tea served by teachers and dog walking.
