YEAR five pupils at Hugh Sexey Middle School took on an unusual maths challenge over their holiday period which allowed them to create some impressive decorations.

The students had to design a Christmas bauble from a net cut from a single sheet of A4 paper or card. The competition was recently judged and saw four winners picked out.
