Pupils meet Olympic torchbearer

Winscombe Primary School

PUPILS of a Somerset primary school were able to catch a glimpse of the Olympic torch when it was displayed by one of the torchbearers.

David Beaver, a resident from Winscombe called into Winscombe Primary School, in Moorham Road, with the Olympic torch after he ran with it in Wells.

David is a fundraiser and a volunteer for the Citizens Advice Bureau and was nominated by his three children.
