A Race For Life run was hosted by a Worle primary school to collect money for Cancer Research.
Worle Village Primary School, in Church Road, raised £2,426 through sponsorship.
Every year group took part in the races, completing between one mile and three miles.
Teacher Deborah Doolan said: “We managed to raise a whopping £2,426 which was a big deal for a school so small.”
Two of the top fundraisers managed to collect £100 each from their generous family and friends.
