GREEN-FINGERED youngsters took a trip to the wild side as they explored the outdoors during a bushcraft session.
Pupils at Mead Vale Primary School, in Kestrel Drive, took some time out of the classroom and roasted marshmallows and made bread during the special lesson.
They also were shown some beading skills and created a few intricate bracelets and necklaces.
