A SOMERSET adventure park and farm celebrated World School Milk Day with a visit from primary school pupils to its dairy.
Puxton Park, in Hewish, opened its doors to pupils from Becket Primary school last week, where they met herdsman Steve Hearn and were shown the milk dairy, on-side butchers and ice-cream parlour to mark the occasion.
A total of 381 children of primary school age from across North Somerset attended Puxton.
Managing director Alistair Mead said: “World School Milk Day successfully promotes the importance of drinking milk at school to children, in a fun, memorable and educational way.
