BUDDING young reporters at Banwell Primary School have been trying their hands at a spot of journalism.

Year six pupils have been learning about how to write news articles, and have been creating stories based around the school.

Mercury reporter James Franklin popped into the school in West Street to help them out as they created articles on subjects as diverse as summer camp, school dinners and the establishment’s history.
