ANIMATED characters have helped youngsters at a Weston school to make science fun.
Windwhistle Primary School pupils took part in workshops run by Helen Hewitt from Animation for Education last week.
Children made their own characters and props out of plasticine and animated them to make short films.
The films will be edited by Helen and a cinema celebration afternoon will be held at the end of the term.
The animation day was held to coincide with a school science-based theme called Wallace and Gromit: Fact or Friction?
