Archant

THIS youngster was arrested and taken away by officers at Burnham Police Station - but only as part of a school trip.

The 10 Year 11 pupils from King Alfred School visited the station on May 10 and were given a detailed demonstration on lifting fingerprints and other forms of DNA, as well as watching police dog Ria find four different substances from around the station.

As a memento of their day, each pupil was given a certificate with their mug shot on.
