Pupils at Walliscote Primary School in Weston were reminded about staying safe in the summer.

The summer safety day included workshops on skin cancer from 4 U Mandy Jones. It is a group set up in memory of Mandy who died from skin cancer in 2011.

The children also learned about healthy eating with Farmlink, road safety and stranger danger from PCSOs, and the dangers of sinking mud with the RNLI.
