PUPILS at three North Somerset schools have been going green as part of an energy firm’s new environmental drive.
Youngsters from Sandford (pictured), Hutton and Worle’s St Marks primaries have been staging their own activities as part of EDF Energy’s Green Britain Day.
At Sandford, children enjoyed eco workshops and recycling exercises, and staged a plant sale and dressed in green for a day.
Teacher Victoria Sheppard said: “The day was informative, full of activity and fun-filled for the children helping them to understand more about the importance of being green.”
