WORLD religions have been explored at Churchill Primary School this week.

The whole school adopted an international religion day as they learnt about Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam and other faiths.

Headteacher Valerie Tighe said the pupils undertook many different tasks before telling the rest of the school what they had learnt.

She said: “There was cooking, washing, making scrolls and dressing up. It was a day of learning about different religions and writing prayers.”
