A healthy eating week at a Worle school challenged pupils to eat more fruit and vegetables and drink more water.
Mendip Green Primary School’s chef Steve Fowell has helped to organise the activities.
During the week, he made smoothies out of various fruit and vegetables and encouraged the youngsters to try food from around the world.
The youngsters also learned about which foods are high in energy, and enjoyed the opportunity to take part in exercises.
Year two children have been encouraged to drink more water, and reception and year one pupils have been learning the importance of breakfast.
They ate all kinds of breakfasts, and completed a food diary.
