A SCHOOL fete in Axbridge was fun for all raising £1600.

The Axbridge First School fete attracted hundreds of people to the event in Moorland Street.

There were stalls including local businesses selling cards, face painting and a tombola.

Lorna Richardson, acting head of the school said; “It was wonderful because the sun shone.

“There were stalls and may pole dancing by the older children.

“The Red Barrows, a local community group turned up dressed as members of the red arrows.

“They arrived with a wheelbarrow and took children on rides.”
