A PRESCHOOL in Locking is aiming to raise more than 100,000 to move into a larger premises – the nearby village primary school.
Locking Preschool is inviting donations and is launching a buy-a-brick campaign to raise the cash for the move from the village hall to the school in Meadow Drive.
The switch, which will include building a single-storey extension at the school, has already been proposed to North Somerset Council’s planning department and is expected to be approved.
The campaign is to be launched at the annual village fete on the village park in Grenville Avenue at 2pm on July 16.
