A SCHOOL governor is to stand down after five years in his post.
Denis Carroll, current Local Educational Authority governor for Shipham First School will leave after joining in 2006.
A spokesman for the school said: “Not only has Denis supported Shipham School but he also does a lot for the children in the local community outside school providing help and support to a number of youth organisations locally including Cubs,the youth club and the children’s football club.”
