A school in North Somerset is piloting a range of talks, activities and workshops to raise awareness of dementia.
Sidcot School will be hosting the project and welcoming pupils from Worle Community School and Backwell School to take part in a range of arts, science and drama activities exploring the issue of the mental illness, with a creative community day, open to all, being held on June 1 from 11am-3pm.
An exhibition by local artist Stephen Magrath, called ‘Where’s My Mind’ will also be on display on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-5pm, and on Saturdays from 11am-4pm from May 14-June 9.
