A SCHOOL has turned to the technological to keep in touch with parents – by starting a Twitter account.
Milton Park Primary in Milton Park Road now has its own account on the social networking site and is encouraging parents to sign up and follow its updates for the latest news and reminders about school events.
But ironically Twitter is banned on the school computers, meaning staff member Rebecca Nash, who set up the account, has to use her phone to tweet updates.
She said: “We hope it will be a quicker way to communicate with parents and also save paper.”
