PUPILS are 'reaching high standards' in reading, writing and arithmetic, according to independent inspectors.
A recent visit by education watchdog Ofsted pinpointed the progress children make at the school, as one of its strengths.
The report also noted pupils by the end of year two are academically ‘above the national average’.
Jenny Venning, interim headteacher, said: “We are delighted with this report, which recognises and celebrates the many strengths of the school.
“Staff and governors are committed to raising standards even further and the inspectors’ suggestions for future improvements will help us focus on our next steps towards becoming outstanding.”
