CHILDREN enjoyed trying out their new play equipment at school and checking out their revamped playground.

The work at St Martin’s Junior School in Worle is the final part of a North Somerset Council project that has involved major remodelling of the Spring Hill building and grounds, ready for when it officially becomes a primary school in September.

The children took part in a competition to design the garden, which was won by Imogen Old.
