STUDENTS at a Somerset school were grilled by teachers and parents to prepare them for when they apply for university.
Year 12 pupils at The Kings of Wessex Academy in Station Road, Cheddar, donned suits and ties and created a CV before undergoing a mock interview.
The one-on-one talks were undertaken by teachers, governors, parents and community volunteers from the Mendip Rotary Club.
Parent Paul Fowler, an interviewer, said: “This year’s interviews have been to a very good standard and it is impressive to see the effort the students have put in. That’s what makes it so enjoyable for us.”
