STAFF and students have been told their school is ‘outstanding’ in a number of ways.

Ofsted this week released its report following an inspection at Herons’ Moor Primary School in Weston.

Findings show the school is ‘good’ overall, but with some areas being rated as ‘outstanding’.

The report about the school at The Campus in Locking Castle said: “This is a good school.

“The headteacher, ably supported by staff and the governing body, has successfully driven improvement in provision and outcomes for pupils.”

The education watchdog’s report highlighted numerous outstanding aspects of the school including the way the children are looked after, how the children remain healthy and the care, guidance and support the school offers.
