Burrington Primary School held its annual Green Day this week.

The pupils donned green clothes and learned about the environment.

The school raised £54 from the event which will be spent on a bird feeding station.

Headteacher Alison Waite said: “The children were asked to bring a plant for the school grounds in order to encourage the children to be aware of the environment around them.”
