Schools contest tag rugby competition

THE spirit of the Six Nations was rekindled on Friday at a tag rugby tournament held between several primary schools.

The event, organised among the Churchill cluster of North Somerset primary schools, saw two tournaments take place at the recreation ground in Winscombe.

The first, played by year three and four pupils, was won by a team from Winscombe Primary School.

The second, played by year five and six pupils, was won by a team from Sandford Primary School.
