Archant

Students from Churchill Academy and Sixth Form took part in a ‘sublime’ concert with the Bristol Cathedral Choir School last week.

An Evening Of English Music was held at All Saints’ Church in All Saints’ Road, Weston. A separate performance also took place in Bristol.

The choral section of the evening included music from Purcell, Harris and Tippett, while the orchestra performed Elgar’s Enigma Variations.

Churchill headteacher Barry Wratten said: “This has been a great community event and one that has shown a truly excellent standard of performance. All involved have triumphed and it has been sublime.”
