A SCIENTIST turned a Portishead school hall in to a lab for the day.
Dr Alison Rivetts from the Bristol Unviersity ChemLabs project ran a circus of experiments at St Peter's Primary School.
Pupils watched and some, complete with protective goggles, took part in a number of experiments that involved bubbling pots of colour changing substances, bubbles, ice and some very loud bangs.
The ChemLab visit was just one of many exciting events that took place during the school's science week.
