YEAR six pupils at a Congresbury school said goodbye to primary education at a leavers’ concert and service.

Pupils from St Andrew’s Primary School in Station Road took part in the service at nearby St Andrew’s Church, in Church Drive.

The service gave year six children the opportunity to reflect on life at St Andrew’s and say goodbye to teachers and classmates.

In an online letter to those leaving, headteacher Neil Tuttiett said: “You are well prepared for the next phase of your education.

“You will all have an amazing experience in your new schools and we look forward to seeing you in your new uniforms and hearing all about your experiences.”
