PUPILS and teachers are celebrating after a school inspection resulted in a positive report.
After inspectors from the Independent Schools Inspectorate spent five days at the school, several areas were ranked as ‘excellent’, with the majority of others being ‘good’.
In particular the Junior School came in for high praise, with it being praised for providing ‘excellent’ extra-curricular activities, while both junior and senior schools said to ‘highly effectively meet the schools aim’ to encourage pupil’s abilities.
Rosie Craig, Head of Sidcot Junior School, says, “We are all, as a team, extremely proud of the Junior success, both in academic and pastoral terms. The attainment of pupils in the Junior school is high, in relation to national expectations.”
