Sixth form students from a North Somerset school flew to Africa this summer, visiting an orphanage and taking in some of the most breathtaking sights in the world.
Pupils from Sidcot School travelled to Tanzania to visit the Upendo Orphanage, constructing classroom equipment.
This was the seventh time Sidcot students travelled to Tanzania, with 29 students and four staff making the trip.
Trip co-ordinator Jim Scott, head of science at Sidcot, said: “I am proud of the students.
“The support we provide to communities in Tanzania is varied and very well received.”
