Sidcot School in Winscombe began the new academic year in traditional style, as its boundary walk saw pupils take to the Somerset countryside.
Students, parents and teachers wore house colours on the first Wednesday of term to embark on a hilly trek.
Head teacher Iain Kilpatrick said: “The annual boundary walk is a great tradition to start the new term. We’re extremely privileged to be situated in such a beautiful location and the boundary walk allows us to get out and explore the school’s stunning countryside setting. We were lucky with the weather this year and the staff, students and parents enjoyed the walk immensely.”
