A VILLAGE school has become the first in North Somerset to win a coveted gong.
St Georges Primary School has been handed a Gold Sing Up! Award.
Sing Up is led by Youth Music, the UK’s largest children’s music charity.
The awards recognise the quality of singing in schools.
The Pastures Avenue-based pupils showed off their talents at a spring concert at the village church, where they were presented with their award by Sing Up! area leader Kathleen Still.
