A HALLOWEEN party organised to help raise funds for a popular village preschool last week was a big success.
Children flocked to Banwell Village Hall, dressing up in spooky costumes and enjoying party food and a DJ.
Every child paid 2 to enter the party, with the money going toward Banwell Buddies pre-school’s operating costs.
A DJ from RJ Entertainment played music for free while Waitrose donated a cake which was raffled off.
Organiser Jules Phythian said: “It was absolutely brilliant and all the children really enjoyed themselves.
“We are always looking to raise funding to help us stay open and we’re delighted with the way it turned out.
“We’re already planning another party for Christmas.”
