YOUNGSTERS from a Portishead school enjoyed a Spanish workshop as part of their international studies.
Year one pupils at St Peter's Primary School dressed in costume as they learned about the country's customs and culture.
Activities included tasting different foods, dancing to Spanish music and playing maracas and castanets.
St Peter's hold the British Council's International School Award for its regular international links.
Headteacher Sharon Roberts said: "We are very much aware that our children are growing up in a world where links between countries and continents are very important.
"We want to celebrate the diversity we see in our world and do this through regular international links.
