A DESIGN for website icons, based on the tranquillity of a Zen-inspired garden, has landed a Weston College student a prize from clinical commissioners.

The North Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) asked graphic design students to create icons for its new website, which would be easy to use.

The icons represented categories including operations, keeping fit, emergency help and finding a GP.

Simon Clist, aged 22, was named the overall winner and other entries were so strong the CCG decided to award Amazon vouchers to all the runners up.

Simon was presented with a cheque for £650 and his designs will soon be uploaded onto the website.
